How to Become a Front-end Developer
There are tons of technical blog posts or articles about “How to become a front-end developer” and you all know what front-end development is, what developers do.
I will not write something about “Must do!” or “Don't do!” for being a developer. I just want to share how I started coding and what I am doing right now. I hope I read these articles when I am a Senior developer and thank myself.
Last year I decided to move to London and I did. When I came here It was really hard to explain my job experience to someone. I have 6 years of Corporate Event background, I just graduated from university, my major was Economics, but I don’t know even any words about economics. I like to make coffee, if there is a crisis, I will solve it. I talk to people and be friends with them without hesitation. You can’t search them on job search sites. I did not know which job to look for.
I was interested in technology but
Coding was
“rocket science”
for me.
I didn’t think I could do this because I had tried it before. But obviously, I started from the wrong place and it wasn’t the right time.
First Day
Last week before the day I first started coding, I talked to my all developers friends and asked them what I need and what I could do. I took all the passwords for online training courses. It was time to start.
<h1> Hello World! <h1>
Like I said before, to see these two words on the web page was rocket science for me.
